Default Floating Bikes

I didn't want to post in the actual thread due to the rules of the Marketplace, but how do people do this.



In the images, there is a floating frame above a lake. Do people just photoshop this to make it look nicer, or is there some program they are using.

photoshop, he posted his link on how he did it. two different pictures overlayed or something

I would guess that it involves two photos (one with bike, one without), and the use of layers in Photoshop. Just delete out whatever is holding up the bike and let the layer without the bike show through.

What you don't see is the the fishing lines suspending the frame and the tree just above the frame and out of sight.

When I saw it first, I thought it was copied from the Specialized website, but then notieced all the little cable rub and realized that it was photoshoped.

The "cable rub" is actually part of the paintjob and is under the clear coat. So are the scratches. It looks used even when new, just like pre-washed jeans!




This will help ruin the illusion of the first photo in this thread:

now that is an innovative idea. deadens that "first scratch" blow a bit...just a tiny bit...
