At about noon the site will go down for a vBulletin upgrade. Time depends on how many template edits are needed and how compatible the mods that are on here are with the new version. I'm guessing an hour or two.

Here's some info on the new version. We won't be getting all the new features but probably most of them.

Update - obviously the upgrade didn't go as smoothly as planned. Lots of template edits and a very obscure display bug that was on the member page. Still some stuff to iron out including:

* prefix display on forum pages (like "RR", etc)
* some icons
* etc

I'll be working on this a little more, but it's usable again so have at it.

Yeah it's one of the things that needs work. Updated that mod as well but something's wrong with it. Will update when I know more.

Update on the thanks button: that mod itself hasn't been updated for this version of vBulletin. So it's a waiting game until it gets updated. Till then no more thanking.

Note: Lots of social features (groups/friends/etc), and the member page is all new as well. You can also customize the colors/background images on your member page. Yes . . . kind of like myspace expect with all the music/videos. Most of those things are in your User Control Panel. There are also pic albums in there - they *may* replace the old gallery (probably not). Don't use them for important pics until we decide how to use them.

You might already know this George, but the uploading pics to albums has some bugs in it. After they upload when the preview/process page comes up, it gives an error on the next page. Just thought I'd throw it out there. It ends up loading duplicate copies of pics and does not upload others.
