Default question on site "hack'

been under seige by some sort of computer spyware/virus/ad bs thingy all day. been running all sorts of spybot and virus checks to try to find/quaratine/remove/etc.

just noticed on STR I am seeing some non bike related ads have only noticed bike related ads before. is this real on str or has the virus done something to google ad section on my computer on str?? any help appreciated.

ads seem to rotate and say stuff like you are a winner. click here, etc, etc, etc. oh, i'm pretty sure this is not legit and my computer is f'd

well just like Steve Austin, we can "rebuild".

IT suggested none of the anti-"anythings" were able to scrub it well enough to remove virus, so reformated hardrive was the only answer

Prob spend a portion of my morning reloading various add-on software to synch with phone, etc.

at least i got a mid day ride out of all this BS.

thanks to all who chimed in with potential remedies.
