Just wondering - STR highlights
just like the Buggles are famous for first vid played on mtv (video killed the radio star), what was the first post on str?
 Tried to do a quick search and couldn't find it. Anyone know or care to share or aware of any other STR board "highlights' (lowlight could be roadie forum  )

it was probably something about sanitizing a trail or whether or not a trail was legal to ride
edit, nevermind it was first made in 1969 Marz Forks

Hello,
My name is Danny. I know this may come as a shock, but I am a member of 3f. Mark is a good friend of mine and I may get some negative response to this mail. I say let all of it go, we all love to ride. I have kids, most of you have kids so lets respect that if it means anything. I don't care who or who does not like me ,but lets ride for fun. I was a member of ocriders, (a great bunch of guys)ect... Local Mountain bikers, let the politics go!!!! I may now be banned from any or all mountain bike groups ( sorry Mark if you read this), oh well, i will still ride. Its not a competition but a community of friends. Sorry, I don't mean to offend anybody, and To the owner of this site, i did not join just to speak my mind. I truly feel mountain bikers are a community. Best regards to all.No ill feelings here. On a side note, this was not thought up of , or pre planned by Mark, i just think its a little overboard on both parts  . An outside guy voicing an opinion and nothing else.Please don't assume I am taking any side!!!!Danny       This was my first post on STR.Glad I joined
