Ok, so many of us have been guilty of the occaisional post whoring. But sometimes, people do miss out on information. i was off for a week and i had over 5500 unread posts!
My Question to the Mods: Is there a way we can make the pub, or even add another forum and locate it to the side of the page, for EVERYTHING non bike related, and find a way for posts in that thread to count for antoher unread post counts?

Now ive never done something like this, but can it be done and do you think its a good idea?

Lurker, then people who input useful posts, rather than short, meaningless ones, can help people to understand their ride better, or give useful advice. One who is a post whore make people miss out on useful info by takingtheir time so they are forced to check mark all unread posts read

Its not that people read them, its the fact when they start reading unread posts, they see a bunch of random, "worthless" posts, and many grown adults dont have enough time for BS, they come on here to be enlightened by these people to learn more about their BikeSickles

The basketball baseball hockey football and bad mitten among other sports that are completely unrelated drive me crazy . But I don't have to click on them.
Its my option. I chose no to. I love motor sports but I would never post anything on here about it. My pictures tell a story on my profile so people can PM me if they have any questions.

I love the STR family, We can all post our thoughts and opinions good or bad Right or wrong. Its just better if it's bike related.
