Ok, so this one has bitten me a few times, and I have the steps to reproduce, so I'm filing a bug report.
![]() I'm using Mozilla, and I've experienced this on WinXP, Debian Etch, and FC8 OS on three different machines. The beginning condition is a new ride thread with no posts to it (other than the ride itself). Write a quick reply. I've always put quite a bit of text, and that's what makes this bug frustrating. Hit the submit button. You will get an error response that you don't have enough text in your reply. Hit back, and voilla! all of your text is gone. The workaround is to not use quick reply on a ride thread with no replies.
