Default opinions wanted (again)

Been working on this page recently: http://socaltrailriders.org/map.htm . Gonna use it to replace the current 'trail status' page.

Is it cool or useful or am I wasting my time? What type of info should it have?

I also need names of trails that should be on there.

Thanks

Looks to be a good idea. Google Map Hacks are great. Any way you can get the Directions To link in there?

George, I like the idea. It gives you a general idea of where these trails are located at. I don't think it's a waste of time at all.

Regarding other trails to include, I'd maybe look at socalmtb.com under the trail updates section, there are tons of trails on there.

Thanks for the input. I'll look into the Internet Explorer Problems. So far I've tested it with Firefox on mac/linux/pc and netscape on mac and it's been fine. I'll try IE when I get home.

Some more trails will be marked by tonight, and I'll work on getting links to directions in the next few days.

Thanks!

Looks great! Works fine in FireFox. Using the google map interface is a nice touch.

Speaking of, I don't know if people have seen this route calculator. Just "clear points" and zoom out/in to your area of interest.

Looking forward to riding in Cali again! Sooner or later I'll be making my way out there!

I like it. Another suggestion is to link that areas trail reviews to the map.

How've you been? Did you get the stickers I sent out?

Added a some more trails today with the bit of free time I had. Might work on it some more later, including getting the IE thing fixed. Once I feel it's done I'll replace the trail status page with it.

Thanks!
