First you need to make sure the pics you want to post are no larger than 488 kb. You'll most likely need to resize them.
To post pics simply fill in the text you want in the box then scroll down to the "manage attachments" button. Click this. Click the "browse" button to find the pic on your computer. Repeat using the next browse button if you have more than one pic. Click "upload" and wait until the pics are done uploading. you'll see the file names appear when it's complete. Close this window then click on "submit"

that's done through hotlink the pics. you have to use a picture sharing site like photobucket, fotki, etc.
You upload the pics from your computer to their site. once done you get the URL for where the pic is being hosted. then you go to you post and do the www.fotki.com/ouwer90238r0/0280.jpg then you can insert your comments underneath/ontop of the photo |

As Foo said, you need to link the pics to put text between them. You can use the STR gallery for this too.

Here's a tip that I haven't seen given... use Firefox. For off-site pics that you upload to Flickr or Picasa or Photobucket or Smugmug (not attachments to a post) you have to get the address of the pic. In the Firefox browser you can right-click on an image and "copy image location" then paste that into the image popup.
You can't do that in IE.

First, resize to like 1024x768 unless the pics are already small.
Start a Reply or begin a thread. Click on the paperclip. step1.JPG The attach thing comes up. Browse to your pics. step2.JPG When you're done getting pics, click "Upload". step3.JPG Wait patiently until the dialog comes back with either a list of $hit you did wrong and/or a list of files uploaded. step4.JPG Click "Insert All" step5.JPG step6.JPG Then put in text between the "ATTACH" tags like so. step7.JPG
