Who owns this forum? Also, how many people are on this board?

The reason I ask, is has anyone ever offered to buy this forum? A forum I frequent often has just been bought out by some corporate company that is throwing spam everywhere and basically destroying the forum. All the longtime members are pissed and leaving.

This company seems to be buying forums left and right, in all kinds of topics, from sports, cars, to whatever.

i am good friends with the owner of this forum and i highly doubt he will EVER sell it. it is his pride and joy and it is still gaining more and more positive momentum every day. there are over 2000 members now and the growth has been impressive.

Did they get bought by Internet Brands? I think Internet Brands also bought corvette forums too - the members there were pissed. The company I work for is going to be doing a bit of business with Internet Brands soon.

But yeah - guero just about nailed it about this forum. This isn't just a forum I own. It's a project that turned into a lot of fun that turned into a community full of awesome people and my best friends.

Oh, guero ... Internet Brands also owns ScionLife

If this were "Iron Horse Trail Riders" (I'm looking at you Dino

) then we might have a worry, but as we don't adhere to one company or manufacturer I think we're safely off the radar.

sr20forum focuses on one engine set of one manufacturer of automobiles. That and it's a car forum so there are more opportunities for advertising money.

Just my opinion, I could be wrong.

My friend started a new company. It was his pride and joy too. Also a nice cash cow. He loved it. Someone asked how much money it would take to buy it. He didn't want to sell. He priced it so he would never ever even have to think about work again. The dude bought it!
