Default vote on new features

My website job is winding down so I might have some time on my hands. Which of the following (if any) features do you want on these boards. Or am I just bored and should spend more time riding instead of playing on the computer?

* custom user rank (you specify what it says instead of 'rider' or 'rides the huffy')

* ability to view forums on mobile device (pda or high tech cell; URL will be different but will fetch all posts and topics from here and display them in a format that is easily readable from a mobile device)

* account self delete (allows you to delete your own account )

* watched topics list (allows you to keep a list of topics that you're interested in

* printer friendly pages (will add a printer link which leads to a lightweight version of the topic)

* option to turn off avatars/signatures (will help out people on dial up; allows you to turn off avatars and signatures so pages load faster)

* topic search (allows you to search within a topic; handy for when topics get super long)

* more advanced profile control panel (adds things like: friend and ignore list, list of subscribed topics, birthday, signature editor/preview, etc)

I think the bottom two would be cool, but this site is pretty awesome already.

One suggestion though: On the riders page, you should put the person's forum name on there...not sure who most of those people are or if they post.

I would second Mike's suggestion about the names.

I think we need more people on here....

Lots of people means more posts and all that. But more people also means that you know the guys on the site less that you would if there were fewer....

just an idea...

if the people that frequent mtbr.com all stuck the site url into their signature, maybe more people would know about this site.

But I have no suggestions on how to improve the site. Looks great and is easy to navigate. nice job.

Couldn't agree with you more. I think decals will help a bit too, once we get them on some cars/bikes.

And thanks for the compliment. I'm just happy that it's been so usefull for so many people. Hopefully the community will continue to grow.

This isn't one of the listed options, but I really like http://fixedgeargallery.com/ and how they have a numbered listing of bikes with descriptions. It's unique and when I'm bored I can jump over there and look at some bike porn. I'd make it database driven. The FGG webmaster has to create a new html page for each new bike. That's gotta be a pain. Plus if it's database driven maybe people can update their bikes and descriptions as time goes on.
