Head's UP for the Rwanda Ride

I realize this is a long ways aways, but I thought I'd do a little pre-advertising of the event so others could put it on their calendars. Last year 247 riders turned out and raised over $30,000 for Project Rwanda making it the most talked about MTB event in OC. The next Ride for Rwanda is going to take place on 12/29/07 (Sat). It will be staged out of Cook's Corner (like last year) and will be 50 miles this time... two legs: a 25 mile Upper Rwanda of 4500' gain, 7 am start and a 25 mile Lower Rwanda leg of 2000'gain, 10 am start... ride one or man up and ride both. Hey, if I can ride it on a single speed (last year) you can too!

Post ride celebration with guest Tom Richey, BBQ, live band this year and great prizes. This is a great opportunity to turn your mountain biking passion into something that is having a life changing impact for coofee-growing families in Rwanda. Over 2,000 bikes have been delivered so far and it is raising the economic level of the thousands of small coffee growers in Rwanda.
