Laguna Coast and Aliso-Woods

Been off the bike for three weeks and need to get some miles under my belt again.

Planning on riding from the Nix Center and heading through Laguna Coast over to Aliso-Woods and back.

I'll be parking at the Nix Nature Center off the 133 at 8:00 am and should start riding around 8:15 or so.

Planning on a very sloooow pace but will cover some moderate distance and some fun climbs and descents.

Hopefully the weather will be as nice tomorrow morning as it was today.

I've been off the bike for a while too, finally replaced my broken fork.

Oops...late reply.

The Nix center is on Laguna Canyon Road (133) about 3/4 mile north of the 73 toll road. $3.00 for parking.

I'm thinking of going out Stagecoach South, Up Camarillo, and under the 73 up to Willow; then shoot down Willow over to Stairsteps. Then hit the normal trails in Aliso...probably down Meadows Up Rockit or Cholla and Back Down Stairsteps to follow the original route back to the Nix Center. Maybe some other options if they come up.

I may show up at 8:00 to meet you guys and do a quick warmup stagecoach loop, before i meet up with my usual riding buddy later (something came up and he cant ride till 10:00 or so, but I've gotta pedal before then!)

You'll have fun JAMR... We did the Nix ride a month ago and we turned right after going under the toll road. Very cool over!

Forgot to set my clock back an hour I was there at 7 thinking it was 8, waited around for a while then hit up stagecoach, went down to Laguna and then went back to stagecoach. Went home and realized what time it was Then me and Jeff hit up San Clemente.
