La Costa Showdown at High Noon

I will be riding La Costa at noon (12pm) on Saturday if anyone wants to join me. It will be a nice little warm up for Bootleg Canyon the following weekend. Let me know if you need directions or any additional info.

Haven't been there yet, what kind of trail is La Costa? Is it a xc or more like downhill type?

Somewhere in the middle. Its about a 2.5 mile climb with about 1100 feet of elevation with some semi technical rocky switchbacks, its not a very physically challenging climb, but you would have to be a good climber to clear all the switch backs. Then coming down you can either go down a semi technical, very light dh run (similiar to some of the stuff you see at Noble Canyon) or the easier rocky switchback trail you climb up. Personally I think it is a great ride and I will probably do at least 2 runs.

Duuude, I don't think my new ride'll be ready till the afternoon. I'm trying to find a loaner right now... I'll let you know.
