I had a bunch of bills hit last paycheck and all my money got used--I was even thinking of buying a Niner frame and that didn't happen either.

I get paid again this Friday. Is that too late to donate? I'm glad I at least got the oppurtunity to give Mark a few things.

Are we riding alltogether? or some groups riding early.

Just to clarify--I think the reason the 2 seperate group idea was thrown out wasn't so 1 group could hammer while the other keeps it mellow. The reason splitting up was mentioned was because 1 group may not be able to complete the ride without extended walking/pushing. Which is why I'm not sure combining the Newb ride with this one is the best idea. I have no problem riding with newbs--lord knows I'm spend my fair share of time in the back of the pack. I'm just worried that Newbs won't have fun at Daley and the original reason for the ride--SD Fire/Sladnas' new bike--will get lost in the shuffle of trying to keep everyone happy.

You know, I've been thinking about this for a couple days--is there really a need for "C" group? I don't want to come across as trying to second guess someone else's planning, but:

-they follow the same route anyway
-anyone who wants to hammer will be in "A" group
-most of the harder climbing is near the end, so "B" and "C" may not even see each other until then anyway

I just think it would be more fun to combine "B" and "C". We may be a bit strung out, but what's the difference? We will have more of an oppurtunity to socialize and encourage each other.

If I remember correctly, the original idea of "C" group was so there could be an easier third route. I just don'see the point when the route is the same.

Bloods and Crips riding together now you're just talking crazy? I thought group "B" was doing the some short fireroad route skipped passed bobcat and some other stuff. I suggested group "C" because I didn't want to miss out on the fun stuff but wasn't going to kill myself doing the few extra miles (the 20mi route) of fire road with group "A". Since B and C are the same gang we should join them.

I will merge them once Ben or Gene gives me the nod.

Wow, this has gotten complicated. Here is my take on it...this is just gonna sort itself out on Sunday anyway:

* 1 group. We all ride together. Everyone goes up Cardiac either riding or pushing.
* After Cardiac, group "A" takes Burnt Mtn down to Bobcat and back up Cougar. Group "B" just skips the Burnt Mtn turnoff and waits at the top of Cougar for the other group.

People can decide what they want to do at the top of cardiac. Simple Hold the applause please.
