Riding Near Long Beach Tuesday 10/30

I will be in Long Beach for work next week, but I have most of Tuesday off and I am looking to go riding mid day or afternoon (no night ride since I've don't have lights). Any recommendations? I will be staying down by the port.

Anyone wanna ride with me? I'll buy the beers and a meal after the ride for 3 other people max.


(Have to put a limit on things the way this crowd flocks to free beer).

Assuming the air is nice, try Turnbull in Whittier, Cerro in PV or Laguna.
Or you could road ride up the San Gabriel river trail.

Does that start from Del Cerro Park in PV? That's pretty close to where I'll be.

sam, i work in downtown long beach. do you have a light? i may go hit a trail on tuesday evening after work. i get off at 6. (not the cizzle though)

Gene and I are going to do Aliso at 9 am if anyone wants to join us. Assuming Gene doesn't kill me in Aliso (I've never ridden there), I'd be up for another ride in the afternoon at Del Cerro. Gotta maximize my riding opportunities with all the time I've missed this week!
