Riding in the rain
Does anyone ride during the rain? I am picking up my new Warp today and I was planning on taking the Loop tomorrow, but the way it looks outside, I may not be able to go.
 Any suggestions? |

riding in the rain..
riding in the rain is generally bad for the trails as it causes accelerated erosion. that being said, one trail i know of, Del Cerro in palos verdes, has a long fireroad made of almost all rock and gravel, and little dirt, which could probably be rode with little damage occurring - so long as the single track is not ridden during the rain.

Is Del Cerro pretty far from Fullerton?

yea, pretty far, about 40-45 minutes? But views of the ocean to die for.

Fireroad is downhill for awhile. Then back uphill on the same fireroad.

southridge, fontana and sycamore park in riverside are great places to go when it rains, it's all hardpack and rocky. no erosion issues there
