Santiago Oaks 12/15/07

so im coming back from oregon the weekend of the 8th and have decided i need to get to oaks, since ive never ridden there before.

seen many great pics and wil be cruising out there the 15th most likely mid morning.

have only ridden with a few ppl from str, at the loop, so lets try to get a grip of ppl to go. ill be bringing my bigger bike, chumba evo, and ino we have spoken about big bikes( spookydave). lets make it an oaks ride to remember.

i would like to meet some of the folks that i've only had the chance to talk to on here and all the others whom i havent seen since the swap meet. ( dino brown, spookydave, guero, sckeck, neil, jason, george, nam, ladies) lets make it a ride.

What time in the morning?

I think 1X1 Clyde and the guy's meet around 8am pretty much every Sat. You'd get hooked up with a REAL good time with that crew!

you'll be bummed Ross. Pretty much all the good stuff is now closed. And what's not closed is all f'ed up.
Sad as that used to be my fav local spot.

Really gonna try and make it on saturday (the 15th right)...this trails like 10 min from my house and i've only ridden it once cause i think id get lost

thanks jason. hopefully still on. even tho what dave just added is making wonder. i feel bad pulling out of my first trail ride event, but im gonna have to. SORRY GUYS, I'M OUT. it sounds like what i wanted to go for is gone. =(

You into going somewhere else?

If you want to get a park ride in, we could do Aliso- Laguna.

Park in back on Canyon Vista, and do.....

5-Oaks to Cholla, down Stairsteps, across to LCW, go up Willow, and over to T&A, down it, back accross up Stairsteps, and finish on Rock-It or Lynx.

Just a thought.

hmm, since i have never ridden any other socal trails i suppose i might be down. just looking not to drive to far from mb. also im always in the mood for hucking

ChumbaJason -im still up for riding Santiago Oaks since i really need to learn my home trail (gas aint cheap so if i can avoid driving far to go riding i probably should)

Brah, don't blow this chance. It takes no longer to drive there from Manhattan then it does the Oaks.

You could not get a better freeride guide then maxwell. He's willing to show you the goods. Take him up on it. You will be able to get your huck on for sure on that route.

If I can kick this cold I'd be down for it too.

It's still an ok place. Just not what it was a year ago.
