me and a few other bubs are gonna be hitting up the Oaks on Sat. We'll be in the Albertsons parking lot @ 9am.

I never ridden oaks so what's recommended? Big bike w/granny ring or trail bike?

All thats needed is a trail bike for sure, unless you feel like being adventurous and hitting up Waterfall (Goat) where the big bike may come in handy...although I've known a few people who cleaned it on trailbikes.

I'm personally bringing the big bike...cuz thats all I have.

ill be on my ironhorse warrior 6.0 its got about 5 maybe 6 in on travel i have done it on my xc bike. it was ok on the xc bike which had about 3.5-4 in in travel it will be fun no matter what you are on.

rockin/sperm/brewmaster etc are all gonna roll from corona at 9.

cross bike, rigid single speed, xc bike, trail bike, free ride bike, downhill bike.... they all work

I think what we have here are 2 different group rides going on.
It sounds like Abstact and his peeps are meeting at Albertsons at 9 for their ride and not sure about Chewyeti-too bad we can all go at the same time and have one big STR group ride at the Oaks since everyone will be there anyway.

Chewyeti-anyway you guys can make it to the Albertsons by 9????
