As usual we will be doing our Sunday ride down here in the Chula Vista/Bonita area. Anyone is welcome to come and join us. We meet at 8:00am at the Performance shop on Bonita Rd. There are usually multiple groups so you can find what works best for you. There is a coffee shop for your pre- and post-ride caffeine and snacks. Any questions just let me know. Later.

I'd love to join you guys but I need to be to work in Poway by 12. Is there a bail out that can get me to my car by 11:30?

I rode there Sun. at 8 am, but started at the YMCA. Southbay will be off the hook for night riding.
I'm just trying to figure out a typical route for the bike rides, like cemetery,Pablo's ,White Hill,YMCA, Snake, Church,Junkyard, & Ole Mex. |

hey, bjammin there are quite a few bail out spots for you. and luna sometimes we head south and do the h street system you mention but there are a ton of trails if you head east then south from performance. we use some of sweetwater to access trails like marbles to otay lakes and more that are more east and south than the h street system. there is also a trail that we ride up the otay lakes rd. westside canyon vs. riding the rd.

There is actually two main groups, we all ride the same trails but at different skill level and pace. The advance group is lead by Hoser or Todd, the second group, I guess intermediate, we call ourself Bonita Bikers, we like to stop more often, sometimes a bit shorter rides and we take any rider's skill level that just want to have fun out there, we ride as fast as the slower rider of the group, usually me. ![]() |

Thanks for the info, I'll have to do that ride sometime soon, as I'm currently living down here. I need to brush up on east/south trails.
