Default RR: El Prieto

I rode El Prieto...that's the report.

NAW, just kidding! My Intense & I ended up joining the 6am crew for a Mt. Lowe shuttle. Afterwards, a friend & I decided to hit up El Prieto. Only recently have I discovered how fun this trail is. The first time I did it (about 4yrs ago), it was after a long, long ride, so I was wiped out, and didn't enjoy it. Now that I realize how fun this trail is, we ended up hitting this trail 3 times today!

This trail is highly recommended. Ben, you won't have your typical bad luck on this trail. Cheeser took a few pics. The camera is pretty bad, so only a couple of them came out. Conditions were primo; only a few dusty spots, everything else nice and grippy.

Threading the needle

A small drop near the end (really fun at high speed)

If I can wake up early enough, I might have to hit it up again tomorrow.

Thankfully stans and Tubless tires have helped my affliction!
Have fun tomorrow bud.

I, and a few others ride the shit out of it.

El P is pretty rad. We rode it the other night.

Current record (as far as I know) from top to bottom is just a little over 9 minutes... my friend rails it pretty hard.

Me? Slower than hell, haha. Probably 15 minutes

I know that rock garden in your first pic...it is where I broke the quick release on my Maverick Fork and had to walk out.
