What is the planned ride start time? Should we meet earlier if were shuttling some cars? Meeting at Chantry gate??? is that were Santa Anita meets the road up to the dam?

From the 210 Fry take Santa Anita Ave north. Go one block past Foothill and make a right on E. Sycamore and park.

Due to threatning H-A-B warnings, I've decided to go light. The less discs I blow, the better!

Dean, if you can bring me a copy of your Utah pics. If you have your laptop with you you're more than welcome to copy mine. I have not yet downloaded them to my PC.

My wife just came back from hiking the Mt. Wilson Trail. I forgot to warn her that y’all would be coming down. She was hanging out at Orchard Camp. Says you guys exhibited good trail etiquette. She actually queried other hikers and they all said you guys (and girls?) were OK.

Now, the wife is mildly anti- mountain biker (sigh), so she felt 13 guys is a bit too much of a horde for a trail that is so popular with hikers on such a gorgeous Sunday.

We had the mtb ambassador with us today and if you were to ask some of the other hikers that were coming down, I'm sure you'd be suprized at what they thought of us. Sir Dino was giving them hiking tips and we had a couple groups laughing like mad out there. True there were to many hikers, but I'm all into sharing the trails so I'll just shut up and be happy I get to ride some of the best singletrack in the world, that's right, right here in our own backyard. The San Gabes are the ticket!

I didn't have room for my camera so I'll wait till somebody with pix posts the rr and then I'll jump in. Awesome freeking ride, again!

Mike, stop clicking twice on your mouse when you submit your replies... Definitely an awesome ride. This is officially my new route when climbing to Mt Wilson. Screw the long and painful fire road climb through Eaton Cyn...Waiting for Mr. Dino's pictures...I'll follow right after

yea- neck disc fusion

she was trail running until February or so.. all those years of running sort of caught up to her

thats another reason i gave up trail running. my race times starting getting slower and slower until i could not beat her PR's (she'd be at the finish line rooting for me to not beat her PR and cheering when i did'nt

and yea what Pain Freak wrote ("The San Gabes are the ticket!"

Spent a good 5 minutes talking to her, she is a very nice lady, you are a lucky man.
