Weekly SD night ride..?

Anyone interested? I'm up for some type of weekly commitment. What do you all think? Evil Choc? Pac Man? YetiGirl? (and so many more..) Us down here in SD need to represent! I'm sure that we can put something together. Wed night at 5:45pm...? Thu nights? Looking for an after work ride that people can make once they get off of working the salt mines. PQ/DMM? Mission Trails? Martha's? Florida Canyon urban assault??

For anyone looking to travel every now and then we might be doing Vail Lake and/or Indian Truck Trail once a week.

Sounds great but I doubt I would be able to make the time slot you guys setup.

I know PacMan has a few regular rides. The only ones I can think if is his Wed. Lake Hodges "Quick" ride. He has been doing that for a couple years. I think he does a regular Tue "night" ride at Hodges as well.

Bjammin I think is starting some shop rides but not sure if those are during the week.

Ditto... would be like to make some of the rides, but we can't be down there until around 5:30 at the earliest.

I wouldn't mind setting up maybe a monthly or bi-monthly Friday night road trip also. But, we'll see.

I'm in! I'm in! I was going to post something just like this. How about at 5:45 on Tuesdays?

I've been thinking of riding the Gary Fox rides on Thursdays.

We have an every Tuesday night ride at Lake Hodges at 7:30-ish. Lake Hodges is far from a hard ride, but we do it up as more of a social ride. Ride time varies depending on how much we chit chat, but we're usually back to the cars by 9:30 at the latest. Mileage is about 12 miles and there's only like 750' of climbing. I usually bring my SS.

It's nowhere near as popular as the Fully Thursday night ride, but I'd be super stoked if we could get anywhere even remotely close to that.

We always have fun and I look forward to it every week. The more the merrier!!!!

Hodges is a major hike for me from Downtown, especially if I go home after work. I'll try and make it a few times, but it's tough to commit every week.

I hear ya. It is a bit of a drive for everyone, but it is somewhat central. It takes me 40 minutes to get there from Fallbrook. I'm sure downtown isn't that much further.

Awesome! I need to order a light...ASAP. My pathetic excuse for one died on the ride last night. Once you go HID, it is SO hard to use anything else. My light output looked like a candle!

I'm pretty stoked about the new LED's. I went Halogen because the HID bulbs are so darn expensive. The new LED's are supposed to kick butt and have a longer battery life.

BJammin checked out the Tri-Newt at Interbike and said it is a lot brighter than his HID.
