Actually, if you're only going to run 1 light, putting it on the helmet is a better idea.

Beyond Bikes (my part time gig) is having a huge sale Saturday from 9-5. Maybe stop by and let me hook you up on a set of lights??

Also, I'm thinking of buying the Tri-Newt. If I do, I could sell you my old light--still works awesome and has less than 30 uses on it.

Hey guys, I'm changing my response to maybe. I rode out there this morning and the conditions totally sucked. All the way from the trail-head to Marthas have been widened and groomed. Marthas is 4 feet wide now and is as loose as Jenna Jameson. The Rangers said they were widening the trail for the f-in horse people. I'll think about it and let you know tonight.

I did a hike there last week and thought it looked a bit different then the last time I was there (several months back). The trail in Martha's was really sandy, which seemed totally different from what I remember.

With all the miles I've been putting in this week I think I'm going to take the morning off. I'm still going to ride LPQ at night. You guys should come out! I have an extra light(hid) that can be used.

Well sounds like this ride is going bust. I only have a few hours to ride in the morning so Daley is out for me. Between what Ben says and the other parts of the trail Doug and I found a few weeks back. I think I will wait until they're done destroying Sycamore or some rain comes before going back. So I'm going to change my status to No.

Seen the tractor out there a week ago coming from the Ranch to the bottom of Martha's widening it up & yes it was silty & soft going threw, but the last time we went it was getting packed down. No it won't hardpacked till some rain, just needs to be ridden on and packed down for it so you don't have to worry on putting a foot down.

Also concerning Fanita Ranch, that has been planning on over the last few years, I even put myself on the waiting list to buy, however the real estate market is terrible & no way a builder is going to build that big of a project for a few years. Look around all you see is Short Sales & Foreclosures, builders don't want to sit on homes, so until the market comes back nothing to worry about IMO.

Short-sales and Foreclosures, yeah I hear that. My fiance and I have been locked into the agony of a short-sale on a condo in San Elijo Hills for the past two months. The only real benefit is the fact that we're getting it for a cool 100k less than it originally sold for!
