jmart, what class are you going to be in?
Beginner 30-34 is the class I signed up for. I just got into mountain biking a few months back and thought this would be fun.

What category you racing Justin? That way I can be sure not to race in your field.
I don't know what I'm doing on the CX anyway. I'll be in SS Sport.

You'd better show up with the SS.

Yeah Mike, you're NUT'S!

I may have to race on the Stinky if my HOSS isn't ready.
I'm waiting for parts from Formula. It turns out that I sheared the plunger on the brake lever when I hit the tree in Oregon.

No, Mechmann is in the 30-34 sport

mechmann [10-29-2007 08:18 PM] - sport 30-34... gonna get my butt handed to me with almost no training volume for the last two weeks.

That's right, well he's lucky he's not in the older class!

If I am in the beginner class that starts at 11:00, what time do you recommend me getting to the race?

At least a couple of hours to stretch out, bet last minute preps ready(gear..,etc). Maybe get on a trainer. The thing you want to avoid is being late and having to rush to make the start which will increase the stress factor. Getting there in plenty of time gives you time to relax a bit, soak in the atmosphere, mingle with others.

Physical Therapy, Massage and Chiropractor (one that is certified in ART - Active Release Technique) will make your boo boos all better. Plus, some myofacial massage via a foam roller for your knots (don't use it on your head though).

I know all this from experience because I have "been there" and "done that". The sooner you deal with it the sooner you will be on the down side of recovery and back to normal!!!

Justin is totally resolved not to see doctors unless he has bones sticking out of his skin.

The last time Roger ignored his back problems, he ended up sleeping on the floor for 6 months!!! All he has to do is go to the Dr. to get the referral for PT!!!

I don't think he really needs a referral. We've got a PPO.

He's just lazy. I dunno what the deal is, our buddy Kris is a PT and she could be rubbing on him!

Sounds like he just needs to see a Maestro instead and put the balm on!

Seriously, that's bummer news Justin, PT couldn't hurt I think.
