I used to host FRED Rides (beginner rides) a few years ago. Over time they slowed down. Now I only host them for special occasions. Well now is the time.
What: Halloween Newbie FRED Ride When: October 27th 3pm Who: EVERYONE is welcome! Where: Aliso & Woods Canyon Park-Meeting at the church parking lot. Ride time is 3pm - Everyone get that??? Ride time is 3pm. Why: Halloween...doy! So what does this entail? Well, everyone has to wear a costume. This is mandatory by the way. I am also hoping everyone will bring a little food or/and drink to share (no gu's, no bars and no sustained energy drinks.) The BOB's normally carry most of the food and drink for everyone so if you have one please bring it. I have a stereo for music. There will be a special FRED music list. Don't ask. We leave the church and ride to Coyote. Coyote to Cholla and up. We head over to Lynx and set up camp there at the big rock. Music will be played and the festivities will continue. Once we run out of food or once our bellies are too full, we descend Lynx, get back on Coyote and return to the cars. Total number of miles is something like 6 and it will take about 2-3 hours. The pace is as fast as the slowest rider-so as we all know, "No one is left behind." Remember this is a costume ride. I hope you can make it. |

I think this will be a load of fun. I cant wait. I will bring the huge Chumba tent if I can get help setting it up. My shoulder is still messed up. That thing is way heavy.
Anyone who is short a bike shoot me a PM. I can hook up a demo Chumba I can carry 2-3 extra bikes. |

Chris knows about it. He will be sending it out on the newsletter he sends weekly. Now how do you make a costume that looks like "Dances with Hornets" ???!?!?!?!
