Default San Diego - Friday afternoon ride ideas?

I know a couple of you are riding Daley at 3pm, but I need to be home before 10 PM so I was thinking I might do something a little closer to home (Sycamore, LPQ, Mission Trails). Anyone interested?

Only doing a single loop. You can follow the tail end of traffic home. I would say leaving the trailhead by 5:30 or 6 PM. Sooner if you don't wait for me. My best lap time was 2 hrs for a single loop with Doug.

Last time I went, I think we left the parking lot at 4:00 and probably rolled back to the car at around 7:00. I just need to be home by 6:00 or 6:30 at the latest and with the 30 minute drive it adds up real quick.

Besides, you know it's a toss up as to which of us is the involuntary sweeper.

Didn't they do like two or three laps before you showed up? I think it will be faster this time. Plus, I just keep rolling when they stop and start jabbering.

Your first lap last time was our second, so this one will be a little bit faster paced. Honestly, the pace will probably depend on you and Nappy. I'm guessing a leisurely pace will still only take around 2 hours. it won't be super fast, but it won't be like last time by any stretch.

If we roll at out at 3:15, we should be done no later than 5:30. I doubt it'll take you an hour to get home.

Hope you can make it.

Thanks. Maybe I'll get there a little early and "let" you guys catch up to me

We'll see if I can make it up there. I just need to be able to sneak out of work a little earlier to get up to Daley (it will take around 45 minutes without any traffic).

Sweet, let me know how early you can get there. I can be on-site by 2 PM. Doug and J can catch up.

Ah, man... If you ignore him he goes away. Now he will hang around.

Its pretty sweet; its basically an up and down with a couple of really cool, well maintained dowhnhills. One is pretty technical, the other is really smooth and fun. I'll post an official ride one of these days.

J has a few things he may need to take care of, so it may just be the 3 of us. You 2 had better pray he shows, or you're in big, big trouble.

I'm going to be on a 29 pound 575 this time, not a 33.5 pound Reign. Maybe I'll bring my Ipod and Surround Sound helmet, as I will probably end up doing most of the ride solo.

I don't know about your's, but that's what mine weighed with Rhyno(not so)Lite wheels, 2.35 Nevegals front and rear and Diabolous cranks.

Mine was built up pretty heavy. I'm sure your's is close.
