Update from Andy, if his ride goes so does ours!!

"I got through on the phone with one of the rangers. Currently the park is closed (we all knew that.) The higher ups are having a meeting this afternoon to discuss the opening of certain parks. As soon as the work trickles down to the park rangers, they promise to update the answering machine."

Lets keep our fingers crossed.

Default Air Quality

I just want to remind folks that there is no guarantee on what the "air" is going to be like this sunday....essentially I am saying that if you fall within the categories of people that might be readily affected by the microbes still in the air please use your best judgement.

I would love for everyone to come out and have fun and breath deeply but I would never forgive myself if someone has a allergic or asthmatic reaction on this ride.

I am not trying to sabotage my own event, just want to make sure everyone is aware.
Thanks,
Neil

Dumb question, but never having participated in a demo event before, I have to ask: Should I bring my own Crank Bros pedals, or will Jason & Crew from 'Chuba' have a variety on hand?

Always easiest to bring your own but I am pretty sure Jason and Co has some.
See you sunday!

Default Yes bring your crank brothers pedals.

We will have SPD and platform pedals.
Just bring your helmets and gear. If you use Crank bros pedals bring them.

Cool. Thanks Neil.
Forgot to ask the other question: Is there a reservation system of any sort to get the medium XCL I want to try, or is it yer basic mud-slinging, eye-gouging, "yo-mamma's so ugly" yelling free-for-all?

The event will be a great escape. Everyone has been stuck at home to stay out of the ashes. Sunday will be a BBQ and free stuff and fun times. Bring cameras.
We might have a picture contest. Who knows you could be on the next Chumba sales brochure or our web site. I am thinking about a locals photo gallery.
See you all there.

OK who need s a large and a small? I Can carry 5 bikes and Alan can carry 5 bikes. How many should be med and how many should be large & small?

I'm thinking 75% med XCL maybe a couple of EVO's.
The F5 is not ready to go. That bike rules its too bad it needs service.
