Daley Ranch, Friday 10/5 @ 3PM

Riding Daley Ranch in Escondido, Friday at 3PM. Distance is around 12 miles with approx 1,900' of elevation gain. It's a good workout, but nothing too hard.

We will be following this route:

-Trailhead off La Honda
-Out Creek Crossing
-Right on East Ridge
-Left on Sage
-Left on Diamondback
-Right on Coyote
-Right on Eastridge
-Right on Ranch House Rd
-Out east side of Jack Creek Meadow
-Hook around to start back on west side of Jack Creek Meadow
-Right on Hidden Spring (Cardiac)
-Left on Engelmann Oak
-Right on Burn Mt
-Left on Engelmann Oak
-Left on Bobcat
-Left on Cougar Ridge
-Left on Crest
-Left on Boulder Loop
-Right on Ranch House Rd back to parking lot

12+ miles, 1900'+ ascent, 2 hour pace.

I don't get why you call that section "Cardiac" when Cougar Ridge is the real pain in the @$$ hike-a-bike section not Hidden Spring.

I didn't name it Cardiac, that's what it's called by everyone else. I actually do consider it harder than Cougar though. I can clean Cougar with no stops or dabs. I've never cleaned Cardiac without at least 1 stop before.

I can't clean cardiac... Mentally I go into positive and prepared every time, but *every* time I get stuck near that damn rock... I can clean it from there.

Party stuff we (wife and I) need to do tonight that we won't have time to do tomorrow. Plus it doesn't feel right dumping everything on the wife. I did that with our wedding and I still hear about it. I also have family coming in from out of town so might be doing dinner tonight.
