I am good for all of that!!!

even Caldera would be pretty safe for a beginner, no exposure, just some sandy sections. allison and i have a really good map in the truck.
right on w/ the map. i am going to print a few as well before we leave.

i do think, however, the highlight will be those two diamonds on the xc side....skyline and powerpole. i can't wait.

Helllll yeah!! I'm pumped some good people are riding the XC trails, I was worried I'd be the only one (since SDYeti just went to the darkside). Print me up one those maps!!

Brews in the parking lot! I think they have BBQs there, maybe we can hit up the supermarket and grab some burgers on Saturday.

>>> BTW, are any of the "XC" guys going full face? I can't decide if its overkill or not.

I will be rolling with a regular lid, crashing my face into a rock might help my complexion...

BBQ in the parking lot sounds great to me, anyone have a grill they can bring??

I have ridden Skyline and Girl Scout on my dh bike! Plus, I may figure out a way to squeeze the Yeti in the car

I'm thinking I may do a XC ride Sunday. Something with a little bit of tech. That is if I don't completely succumb to the pressure of downhill shuttle runs.

We're thinking the same thing, Craig. Traffic usually sucks coming back home on Sundays, so it would be cool to check out the XC trails for a bit Sunday AM, then head home.

Who's bringing coolers? I think space is limited in SDYetis car, so if anyone/anyones bringing a ginormous cooler with extra space, I'd link to slink my icey-cold brewed goodness into it.

There is a Taco Bell down the street and across the highway there is a good Taco Stand. If your on an XC bike, it's doable!!

We usually bring lunch in a cooler and have a tailgate party. Roger's favorite is fried chicken from the market in town.

Totally. There's a whole little downtown in Boulder City with restaurants and a super market. You can get a sick view of Vegas from the top, but it might be kind of hike to grab some food.
