Default San Diego: Ideas for a Friday ride

I just got my bike back from the shop and need to get a ride in before the weekend. Anyone available to ride on Friday after 2 PM? Sycamore Canyon, LPQ, Hodges, Elfin anything?

If everyone is busy I'll bust out a solo at Sycamore Canyon.

I have a half day on Friday and Dan is not working. We might be up for a ride at any of those locations...

I'd like to do some of those rides but I get off classes at 3pm. Maybe at 4 I could make some of those rides. I go to school in La Jolla.

I ended up working late. But since I didn't see any other post about a late start I figure everyone made there own plans. I'm taking a long weekend and will be posting a ride for Tuesday. I just need to find a place to ride.

With LED technology coming on really strong at I-bike, HID's will be getting pretty cheap now. Or just save for the TriNewt. More powerful than the Flight and 1/3 the cost.(less burn time though)

I'm a wannabe electronics geek. I was going to try and make some LED lights a while back before they were available with PacMan's dad but never followed through. Kind of like my riding... Anyways if I do get lights it will be LED. Not going for the first gen even though the prices are dropping but might get the gen 2's. Xmas present from the wife would be nice...

I'm gonna give my helmet mounted halogen to my son and get an HID for my helmet and keep my "bright as sunlight" halogen bar mounted lights.

Do a search on Luxon Star. thats the common LED used. they are as good or bettter than HID and have better battery life which I keep in mind because I have wet dreams of a 24 hr race before i die.
