Allison - I've seen you ride. You'll be fine and enjoy it. Remember, momentum is your friend in the chunk.

Thanks Winston for posting the photos. That was quite a while ago. I was on the Dean back then. Of course, I still say that bike was the baddest mofo bike I have ever ridden.
I love that trail. SiccccccK I tell you! Allison, you will love it. If I can do it on a hardtail with 80mm of travel, I guarantee you can do it on any of your bikes.

Thanks again Winston!

When I desribe Tunnel to folks who are about to ride it for the first time I refer back to the first Star Wars movie, where at the end Skywalker is traveling in the channel in the Death Star and he is avioding fire from all over. It can be relentless at times. FUN!!

Yes, momentum is your friend! Try to look down trail and not focus to much to right in front of you, keep your stance a bit more back with more pulling weight on your bars. Pedal some and just miss the big objects, and when the drops come just imagine your path in the air to your landing and not the big gapping hole underneath! Oh, and squeeze a tennis ball on the way up because your hands will be dead within the first 10 minutes!

Dood, if your hands get tired in 10 minutes, you must have a death grip on your bars!!!
