Is "palns" another acronym? I can't find it on google. I had a hard enough time finding 'FWIW'. I thought it might mean 'from what I wemember' but that would mean a visual speech impediment. Anyway, i found it. It's "from what I wecall' Yeah, love this stuff! oops my bad..guess not.
