Had to read about it. Never been there. I wanna try it! Is it camping or hoteling? |

We have camped and hoteled in the past. Either is a viable option at Bootleg.

Camping is available in the parking lot (free). There are bathrooms and showers.
As far as hotels, there are many in town. We will be staying here: Hacienda Hotel & Casino Highway 93 Boulder City, Nevada 89005 (702) 293-5000

I always wanted to ride their. I am not sure about the DH stuff but I would really be interested in some of the XC. My parents live out their so I can kill two birds with one stone!

I'm in! I'll be riding the "XC" trails too. If any non-DH people are on the fence, I've done the XC stuff there and it is siiick! Pay $20, and ride up to the top all day long on the truck.
Is anyone else going to camp? And, I think I'm driving up there next weekend if anyones down. |

However, I do suggest elbow/shin guards even on a trail bike!!! The rocks are pretty sharp.

Sounds like a good time. Count me as interested on the XC side. I've heard Skyline's a b*tch to ride.
I wonder how torn up the trails will be after Interbike?

Okay, looks like we have plenty of folks to make it a go. The ride has been posted: Bootleg Canyon - 11/10-11

I have a question and I will be to the point. Are you rich or something you and your wife both have nice bikes and your always going on trips and long rides? Do you and your wife work? If so what kind of work do you do? I need to get a job like yours. Are you hiring?
