So fresh I'm fly!

Greetings!
I read that the CORBA guy are going to be working on the Ken Burton trail this weekend, it has inspired me. Early this year I put in 3 days of maintenance, 2 on Red Box and one on El Prieto and one of those days on Red Box I had a friend help. I went through Red Box last weekend and I had such fun rolling the uncluttered parts we had cleared, which disapated soon as I was brushed and pushed by lots of work yet to be done. So, I have time this Saturday to head up and do more. Would there be any others out there looking to lend a hand? Meet at the JPL lot at 7:30am and be ready to shuttle up, park at the lot above Switzers and head down past the zones my buddy and I cleared on the second decent after the campground. Work until tired and then roll on out, then grab some good grub. I would opt to park at the trailhead of Red Box but I'll have clippers lashed to my bike, so, that'll kinda take away from my ride experience. But if the consesus is up for more downhill then I'll buck up. Oh, I have a spare pair of clippers but only one small hand saw. And when I clear brush, it's good for years! ![]() |

Hey Rob,
I'd be up for joining you. I'm getting a ride together for Sunday doing Strawberry Pk and then all the way down to JPL. I was thinking of joining the CORBA guys but would much rather do some work on this section as I ride it more. It would also be nice to have the trail in good shape for Sunday. I'll bring saw and clippers. Scott |
