Default Rain out Roadie this Afternoon

Gonna start about 1pm from Irvine. Gonna ride Santiago Canyon Road down into Lake Forest and back. Let me know if anyone's interested. Thinking about 50 miles.

Flaked on Jose's ride up Blackstar. So...

I tried to atone for it by riding the road this afternoon. Flatted, broke the valve stem on the first inner tube, and my 2nd inner tube was a shrader valve and my wheels are drilled for presta only. F*ck! No patches, so I had to walk 45min. to a place my buddy would recognize to pick my azz up. That's what I get for flaking on Jose's ride.

Anyhow, I'm now repacking my road kit with all presta tube s, CO2, and patch kit.

Otherwise, the first 20miles wasn't bad considering the wind.

I'm stuck up here in Stockton, otherwise I'd have joined you.
