Are you really sure you want cameras around? Let's see, I seem to recall pic's of you picking cactus out of your ass and then holding your nuts after busting them into your stem. Am I missing any?

i didn't say i can't do this ride. i said that i would like to forget my last experience on that trail and riding it again probably won't help.
Let's not forget Justin's last experience... 3 miles down the trail his chainring snaps in 3 pieces... he goes to remove it and finds his XT crankset is garbage... he proceeds to ride the remainder of the trail with a small chainring.

I remember that. He manned up. Plus after giving your small ring to Justin, YOU had only a middle ring on the Enduro. Running that thing 1x9 would be brutal on those ups and downs....

Come on WOODSTER....SIGN UP!!

I love Palm Canyon, it pretty much is my favorite all of the SoCal Epics I have ever done. Rugged, long, some technical, exposure, this place has it all.

Here are some pictures from early this year.

My favorite pic from that ride.

If you have not done this ride it is well worth drive and effort.

Every trail has it's own personality or more like, it's own feel. Palm Canyon is one of my favorites. I personally like the long distance "epic" type rides. I can understand why some folks may not like it. I personally don't care a whole lot for Noble, but I'd ride it again. There are some trails the first time or two I didn't like them at all, but I always enjoyed the ride. And now I find those trails as some of my favorites. PC is like no other ride I've done in SoCal and maybe that's why I like it too. It has a wide variety of terrain and the exposure is limited.
This is by no means a shuttle type ride, so if you do it, pack a lunch and double the water you think you may need. Stans or Slime is a must, don't try to get away without it.

Well said Mike. Some of my favorite trails/parks are ones that I used to despise.
I would like to do PC myself, just not this time.

I love this ride! My favorite ride ever! Tons of different terrain and now we have ways around the sand. Well, most of it, adds some more distance too.

I am maybe in, my ss is up and running but i dont know if i want to suffer through that ride on the SS.....maybe. My epic needs a new cassette. Or my cassette needs to be tightened because it is loose. Anyone a good mechanic that wants to help me tighten it or replace it if i need a new one?
