BlackStar - Motorway on 9/22 Meet around 745 On the road @ 8AM!!
what's everyone doing this Sat morning? I know it may rain soon (or has in some places) and that most trails may suck and that some peOple may be racing or doing something else so, I ask if anyone is down to do some miles @ a nice pace (not fast not slow just nice) just to get a nice work out this Sat morning. my plan is to hit BlackStar early in the morning up to motorway come down to the parking spot and if people have the legs go up Mapple to the top than come back down!! I know is a bunch of fireroad crap but hey its a work out & is kind of fun and ohh yeah its dirt!!
 so come on monkies lets hit this shiiattt!!  we can always quit after Motorway  (some asked for me to post this so here) |

Where you parking? Off of Blackstar Canyon Rd. or Up by Maple Gate? Cross bike? If you mean my 80's Bianchi Volpe? Negatory ghost rider! Dang I just saw the start time poll? WTF, Jose that's gonna hurt man. Are you training for the 5:30am start time too.  |

I may meet up with you guy's if I'm off work eary enough. I'll probably be parking in the dirt lot accross from the Community Center. If I'm early, I'll pedal on up towards where your parking. If I'm late, I'll haul a$$ and see if I can catch up.

Crap tickets. I decided to buy an adventure pass but the Sport Chalet was sold out. I may just park at Blackstar then.
Hey guys, it was raining like crazy in Fountain Valley tonight, flash flooding and everything. Don't know how much fell on the Santa Anas. I'll check the board tomorrow am just in case it dumps a lot tonight and the ride gets scratched. |
