A few of us are riding Elfin Forest Friday afternoon at 3PM. None of us have ridden here before, so there will be a certain degree of exploring. I am going to print out several maps/loop suggestions to follow, so it should be fun. Distance will be short but climbing will be plentiful.

nappyt [09-18-2007 09:46 AM] - FYI: 50% chance of precipitation
Ya, but I've learned to just plan rides and wait to cancel until I'm actually getting rained on. Predicting SoCal rain is usually a guessing game.

Its been a trail I have been pushing for us to ride since our Hodges out-n-back used to go to the dam before the Olivenhain Project started. In other words I have wanted to do this ride for years. It was just to far before and to short of a ride to justify a solo. Last edited by nappyt; 09-19-2007 at 06:38 AM. Reason: spell check my @$$ |

Anyways I was reading MTBBill's write up and he made the same mistake I did twice. (not busting on you Bill just making a point.) So byte me. (That was intentional...) Don't be jealous you could have $60k worth of student loans too if you were willing to give up a couple nights of riding and years of your life. |
