Mission Trails - West Fortuna/Rim/Suycott Friday Ride

Since there are no other organized rides for Friday afternoon, I thought I would post this to see if anyone shows up.

Eastern-most end of Clairemont Mesa Blvd
Bridge Entrance
7-9 Miles
Quick Ups and Downs, Decent Single Track
All in the western part of the park
Probably around 1.5 hours

I haven't been posting rides lately because most people are working at 3PM when I ride. I posted a few before and half the time I would get a good group. Other times I would delete the post for lack of interest.

Maybe I will start posting afternoon rides again. I would come down and ride today but I already plan to do a loop at Sycamore Canyon on the Poway side.

I would be there for sure, but need to rest a little for Noble tomorrow.

I wish I could go on the Noble ride, but I don't know if I have the lungs for it at this point. Or the time...

I got to the trail head right at 3 waited for a little while and then road out. I had to be back to my truck by 4:30.

Not sure which route you took but I make a left after crossing the bridge follow the Rim trial around to Suycott Wash down into the valley around West Fortuna then up S. Fortuna then up the Quarry trail back up to the Rim trail to my truck.

If you saw and bright orange dot on the horizon that was me.

Sorry about that. I had a little trouble getting out of work and was 10 or 15 minutes late. I thought I had time since you thought you were going to be late... Ooops. I waited till about 3:30 and headed out. Was that your Xterra?
