Default Saturday ride in Chula Vista/Bonita...

Anyone that wants to join this weekend, let me know. Can't go Sunday morning, but Saturday is going to be good for me this weekend. So if your not going to the Tour De Noble, let me know. Later.

What time of day? I have some buddies that would like to see me push my bike up Noble and drag the brakes all the way down. But I'm not sure if that's my idea of fun. If that does fall through I would be looking for an afternoon ride around 11 AM.

I will say one thing: As hard as you think the climb will be, you're right. But, it is an awesome "notch in the belt."

I don't think anyone said that

Here's the thing--you might climb it slow. Hell, you might push your bike for an hour. But regardless of how you get it done, your mind will have conquered the ride which can be more important than the body sometimes! You won't look at climbs the same way...it will push you to do more stuff.

Not to mention you'll burn some serious calories which will stimulate your brain to release endorphins, which will bring a smile to your face and extra energy in your legs.

All that is true. However, you need to be able to climb most of it on the bike IMO. Doing the Daley Double gave Jeremy a good idea as to whether he could do it or not. I'd be worried if you've never pushed your endurance limits.

Sorry for the thread hijack by the way.

Default oh well...

so, i wasn't doing the tour because of time constraints. i unfortunately don't have all day saturday to ride, need to do some stuff with the family. now it looks like i will not be getting much of any riding done because i have to go to the dreaded DMV on saturday. it is only open on this saturday and i do not have time to go today. i will without a doubt be going on the next Tour De Noble. and the offer still stands for rides in chula vista, just not this saturday or sunday(family plans also). thanks for all who chimed in on this thread.
