Way to go Duan. Dumb question - which one was that? Second or third climb?

Awesome!! That's a huge deal when you think about the math involved - 36T vs. 24/26T - thats roughly 30% harder gear ratio. Technique and strength/endurance are on the upswing for all of us if we keep this 'exercise' thing going...thank god this stuff is as fun as it is. I know I'll never step foot in any creepy, smelly gym again.

remember after cholla we headed to that rest stop and jsut before that rest stop there was that really short and steep incline. then we started riding to go to top of the world that climb is what i'm referring to. I want to do the short and steep one in middle ring next time out of the saddle without puking

Donny, thanks for putting the math into perspective makes it sound a lot better

haha if i was in shape, then i'd agree... taking 2-3 weeks off from doing any real rides kills any sort of physical fitness

Me too! Just need to get more miles and saddle time in. I'll know by mid week if I'm doing the Tour De Aliso or ride with this group.
