Next on the Newbie Tour is Whiting Ranch Wilderness.

UR2KLOS,

Glad you will be riding with Jules and I and everyone else...it will be fun. If only I could get Jules to wear knee pads like you do.

I saw you posted this ride on ODC that's cool!

I had a minor crash at Fully Loop last night. Tire mark on my leg didn't know that was possible. Hopefully I will be less sore by the 16 - this way we can race. Oh! The fall did not hold me back - splashed mud everywhere. You better hope there's no mud Whiting.

How come Nam isn't signed up yet??

Enjoy! We'll probably be training for XC races at either Bonelli or Southridge.

Anybody driving from Huntington Beach area that I can either follow or carpool with (I've got a civic with a standard rear carrier and am willing to drive) - first time there in over 10 years so the area is probably somewhat different these days....thx! Donny

Hey Bret,
I might be in for that action. I was thinking of taking the newbs up the hill and to the back, I know we would miss cactus, and paying our repects to the memorial on the road....then back up by the stables and start Sage Scrub trail there..just a thought.

When I do Whiting/Luge, I always go to STT from 4 corners and then re-enter Whiting there as well, then drop in on Cactus/Sage. Tougher climb, but it's the full tour.

This would be for the "A" group extra credit, not the newbs.

I wasn't planning on dragging any newbs up to the flag and down the Luge but was considering four corners and down to the road for a bit then back in at the stables and hitting Sage Scrub trail in all its glory.
