Default San Diego Ride: Daley Ranch (SLOW RIDERS WELCOME)

I haven't been to Daley since May and I want to take my new Heckler for a couple runs on Bobcat. I ride slow so if other slow riders want to come please do.

This trail is <12 mi and ride time is about 3 hrs but might be longer depending on how much goofing off we do along the way. This trail does have some good climbing.

UPDATE: We ride at 8 AM so arrive early to gear up. It's going to be warm in the morning and hot in the afternoon. I plan on bringing as much water as I can carry others might want to do the same. Better to have extra then run out.

Here are photos of Daley from my May ride on Flickr.
Here is a link to a write up on Daley by MTB Bill

Noble?? I thought you were doing LPQ with us on Saturday??

Also, just to clarify, the elevation at Daley (if Tom is following our usual route) is closer to +1900 / -1900. Also, I pulled 90 minutes on a solo there once and almost gave myself a heart attack. So if you can pull that in a group, you must all have "US Postal Team" on you jerseys. Ride time with a group will be more in the 2:15-3:00 range.

Wish I could make it,but I'm out of town that day.

I was talking about how long the wheels will be moving is around 90 min. The ride will take around 3 hrs with all the hike-a-bike sections for me and some slow climbs.

Your RSVP: Evil Chocula [08-29-2007 08:55 AM] - If I don't ride Noble on Saturday, I'll join 'ya.

Hence the confusion.

OK, so I see "ride time will be 90 minutes" and I'm the moron for thinking you meant ride time would be 90 minutes. You're right, I'm sooo stupid.

When your's breaks or has mechanical issues and you can't ride because of it, I'll remind you of this thread.

As someone who takes riding and my bikes seriously, in the future try to I'll ignore the comments from the "peanut gallery".

Besides, it's hard to hear you guys from the top of the climb sometimes.

Allright I changed it. And, seeing as I am a former road racer, my climbing legs are coming back quickly from taking the summer off. So enjoy that silence at the top.... while you have it!

Mu-hahahahahahahah!!!!!
