You gotta laugh in spite of the carnage to one our riders. The guy that schedules the ride shows up 1/2 hour late. Before we leave Dean's driveway Ray snaps a chain. Climbing up Dartmoor, Johnny's son explodes his drivetrain. I was starting to wonder if we would ever hit some dirt. It was no problem, we were not in a rush. We had a very relaxed pace and everyone seemed to be having fun. The weather was absolutely perfect. Not too hot, and gentle sea breeze, what more could we ask for?
I was happy to hit some trails I have not ridden for a while. Of course it reaffirms we really need some rain. The top drop on T&A was like dropping into a sandbox. Hopefully the weather buffoons are right and we get some precipitation Thurs/Fri. Thanks, Rob for putting this together. Also to for providing a rally point and offering up Laguna passes for our entrance to Crescent Bay. It's amazing how quickly the ocean turned from 70* to what felt like 60* brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.Ray - Hope the pain med's are working and heal fast bro. C
