Default San Diego--Los Penasquitos, Saturday 9/1, 3:30-ish

Going to hit up LPQ Saturday afternoon around 3:30-ish. Evil Chocula requested a tour, and a tour he shall receive. We will hit up Tunnels, Cobbles, Bridges, take a spin all the way out to I-805 and everything in between.

Distance will be near 20 miles and climbing below 1,500', so fairly easy stuff. My 11 year old has done this ride. It isn't hard, but it is a good time. We may even take a side trip to Hooterville ( http://www.socaltrailriders.org/foru...ectacular.html )

I say 3:30-ish, because that day will be my first day at my new every-other-Saturday gig working at Beyond Bikes, about 15 minutes away. They close at 3PM and I'm not exactly sure how quick I'll get out.

We park at the end of the softball fields off the Black Mountain Rd entrance.

Come join us for a fun and relatively easy ride.

Changed my mind--I will be SS'ing. Gotta see how LPQ treats me on the SS some time. Might as well be now.

Don't get me wrong you are a stud but for a tour of Tunnels think thats a good idea? I guess thats only about 45 min of the 2+ hrs ride but just a thought. It would be nice to keep you in my sight for a ride for once. So yea bring the SS.

Of all the parts of LPQ that I believe would give me trouble on a SS, Tunnels isn't one of them. The climb out maybe, but not the Tunnels themselves. I do recall inferring that I'm SS'ing it to see how I do, not because I think I'm going to own it.

I appreciate the comments though guys, they're all the motivation I need.

Thats right your a dwarf. Well you wouldn't like to SS Tunnels if you had to ride in the fetal position like I do.

Yep, a 5'10" dwarf.

So, what slows you down on the climb out, since there's no low branches on it??
