The funny thing is, every thing I post on here is tongue in cheek humor, and I very rarely talk smack in person.

When you have been riding together as long as we have you just run out of nice things to say to each other....

Yep, need to get all the stuff tuned on the bike. Are you going to bring the Yeti?

If it comes in on time. Hopefully, it will be delivered tomorrow, and I can pick it up either Friday afternoon or Saturday morning. I have to pick it up before "mr. first day" gets his mitts on it.

Well plan a ride whenever you get it. I still haven't even made a loop around my block. I have been so damn busy. Friday at Hodges will be my first ride on it since the parking lot loop when I bought it.

I'm just incredibly jealous that your's is sitting in your garage. Enjoy your first ride on your new steed

Everything I say on here is all in good fun. Plus, I can usually back up whatever I razz others about. Also, the good thing about me SS'ing LPQ, is that if I do have to push some climbs, you guys will have to wait for me at the top for once--that'll be a switch, eh??

Anyhoot, I can't wait to totally thrash test that new 575 when it comes in the store Saturday

The Heckler--yes.

The Heckler rider--not so much.

Hands off! Although you may be confused because it's the same color, so I guess I'll understand. I just hope it's actually ready for Saturday. Otherwise, I'll have to ride with a broken fork

They said shipping was 3 days and it was shipped yesterday (Tuesday), so theoretically, it should come in Thursday or Friday and then built up after that. I was planning on calling Friday morning to see if it was there. The other bike is still rideable, so I'll probably bring that if the shiny steed isn't ready yet on Saturday.

Nice. I'm looking forward to checking out the new shininess. This guy I know owns a Trance, and he says that he'll still dust you and the 575--once he learns how to stay upright and not fall over.

Yep! The best part is when he thought his was 'special' since it was a rare 6-speed.

Hey Guys,

My father was one of the firefighters that died Wednesday night in the line of duty in Boston. I'll be in Boston until the 18th, some pics from the tunnels would be a welcome distraction.

The loss of a family member is tough blow, but know that there is a bigger plan at work and that all is as it should be. I lost my mother years ago to cancer and it took me years to understand it...

My thoughts and prayers to you and your family...
