Default RR: Brian Head Day 1

The wife and I decided to go to Utah for our one and only vacation this year....and to celebrate her B-day.

Plans are to ride Brian Head, Gooseberry Mesa and Bear Claw Poppy in St. George.

Day 1:

We hit up the local shuttle in Brian Head for some fun long DH. With the elevation starting up around 10,000 ft. I am glad we were not climbing.

We paids our money and off to Dark Hollow we went. Really nice temps up there today...75ish with a very nice little breeze.

Mtnbikej & Mrs. Mtnbikej before the ride

Whew....are we done yet? Where is the air?

Crusing faster than I could take the picture.....

Nothing like home.....

Where did the trail go?

Suzanne soaking in the sights and smells......

We find ourselves stopping alot and taking in the views....

Really fun riding through the Aspens.....

Some new friends we met on along the way...

With our shuttle we recieved a free ride up the chairlift....sweet....

Nice and green.....

Man O man that looks nice.
But does your Bullit know you are out shuttling and riding chair lifts? Man is that bike going to be pissed when you get home. lol

Oh, quick photo tip. Less photos of you and more photos of Suzanne. haha
Looks like a great trip, have fun.

The trails were much rockier that I remembered from last time. Maybe I should have brought the Bullit.

On the photo tip.....you're right....I take better pics than she does.

Thumbs up I love that place!!!!

Looks like they keep adding stuff to Brian Head's trails. I love that place due to the diversity in the trails. I'm always surprised that more riders aren't on the mountain.

Best to Suzanne & safe trip back....

OMR

Bit of Trivia: They have the highest 4th of July fireworks show in the US. they shoot them off the top of the mountain.
