Check this out:

http://www.geoladders.com/schedule_popup.php

Someone riding Holy Jim - Trabuco Saturday morning, and another person riding the Counting Coup course in the a.m.

We aren't the ONLY dumbazzes out there.

Justin brought up a *really* good point. For anyone that is really concerned for our well-being - please drop off 1 gallon of water at the HJ parking area. Then we can refill at the bottom!!

Oh, also leave two Guinness' for us.

There was water at the top of LHJ, but I couldn't find it, sorry. The only stash I know is at Beek's Place because I put it there. There's also water at the top of WHT, left there after the Traverse, but again no help to you cause I don't know where it's stashed. I will have ice-cold beer stashed in my truck at the newbie ride though.

When I was in Ireland, Dublin in fact, they told me that the ONLY way to enjoy a Guinness is when it's cold, otherwiseit's crap. I tend to agree. And, since it already starts out a bit like crap in the US, it needs all the help it can get

Screw the extra water stash, you guys need an airconditioner stash

FWIW, I think we'll plan on a 5:30 start time. To *really* fully incorporate the Vision Quest training schedule.

Also, I'm taking my camera to document the entire ride. Er, parts of the ride when Justin isn't looking!!

at one point I do recall seeing 2 different taps in pubs in Ireland.......one was just Guinness......cellar temp for the locals.......the other Guinness Extra Cold (have a coaster of it somewhere)......for the tourists. Was told that Americans and Aussies wanted it cold. Now that the Brits own Guinness (http://www.diageo.com/en-row/homepage.htm ) who knows?!

just enjoy it anyway you like

That's right! You are the Stoker... who is completely out of the Captain's sight.... I want you to think of this when Justin (AKA slavemaster) is telling you to peddal harder... right around the time of the Wall...remember that both of you don't have to suffer...... what the Captain doesn't know can't hurt you....

Any chance you guys can stash some water and goodies up there beforehand?

Might be a really good idea if you guys plan to be out there all day. It's definitely fry time on the Pain Divide right now.
