Default Consumer Bike Demo Days - Fontana, CA 10/13-14

Don Jackson of SRC asked me to post this upcoming event. There will be a shuttle truck and van both days and food will be on site. The shuttle fee will be $5 each day (and yes you can shuttle with your own bike).

SouthridgeUSA presents:

Consumer Bike Demo Days
Fontana, CA
Oct 13 & 14
9am - 4pm

Come join the SRC family for 2 days of fun! Don Jackson is the owner of Southridge USA: he has been promoting Mtn Bike races for over sixteen years in Southern, Ca. Over the years of promoting races and being a racer, he knows that it is very difficult when you are at a race to go test ride the new product because when you go to the races you have one thing on your mind and that's racing. So he is givin the Consumer, Racers and industry Companys the opportunity to have their day, no racing, just riding and asking questions.

He will also have an XC course, 2 DH courses as well as a Mtn X course set up for you to test the product out on.

Ride the latest bikes from manufacturers listed below:
Turner, FOES, Cannondale, Trek, HARO Bikes, Odi, KHS, NICO-LAI, KONA, Intense Cycles, Extreme.

Just added: X/FUSION SHOX, BRODY BIKES and 661

More vendors being added everyday, so checkwith us to see who's been added.

Vendors who want to participate call(951) 361-01499

Is Don Jackson related to Steven Jackson? If so, I'm steering clear with all the recent carnage thats gone down...

Email Donny at southridgeusa@verizon.net. They are still working out the details and still have other vendors they are trying to get set up.

Post back if you find out. While I maybe wouldn't mind riding someone else's bikes for a run or two, I also wouldn't mind getting in some additional time on my own rig.

Probably will take some photos as well.

A few of us will be out there on Friday to pre-ride the courses on our own bikes before the demo days between 3:30 and 4:00 if anyone would like to join. Meet at the park you'll see our vehicles parked in the dirt by the 4X track. Plan is to stay there for a bit then park at the cul-de-sac to do the DH. Hopefully they'll have them marked out by then assuming they'll be limiting us to certain lines on the hill.
See ya there....

Saturday and Sunday aren't looking to good.

I get out of class at 2:30 on Friday though...

Does it cost any money to ride there or park?

No it's all free and open. Go east on Live Oak off Cherry, on your right is the long parking lot/road leading into the park. Look to your left as you drive down and you should see us parked in the dirt up by the track. I'll PM my cell. Hope to see ya there. They say it might rain Friday...be perfect timing for the demo days.

I hope they have plenty of DH bikes. For some reason something tells me they are going to have mostly XC bikes and like 1 or 2 Dh or all mountain bikes.

I think I will bring my bike just in case.
