Are you suuuuuuure you can't go that weekend? I don't want to step on my johnson and say I can go when I can't; but I'd be willing to give it the "ol college try" to clear up the weekend and make some $$$ available to give it a go. I have to redeem myself on lower Velocity and get a look at a couple other trails we didn't get to hit. This actually gives me a really good idea for another thread which I'll have to post up in a few minutes.

What's the experience spread for the riders going so far? I don't mind riding with better riders, but I hate being the reason people aren't getting in as many runs, or the runs they want to on a trip like this.

Okay... since it seems like this is rapidly growing out of control, we need to figure out who is going and where everyone is staying.

I've got one room for 10 people at the Mammoth Mountain Inn.

Nancy and Roger are paid. Dell is serious about paying, as are Ann and Andy. Including Justin and I, that's7. I also think Jeff is pretty serious about going as well, but he will probably get his lift ticket separately as he wasn't on the original list.

That means we have 3 unpaid spots right now. Also on the list are: Nam, PainFreak, and Dino. I think that Jcampbell has his own place to stay as he's going with other friends as well.

That leaves: Chauvinist Youth, Winston, Franky, Bryce, + 1, FlatBroke, ??

Is there anyone else willing to book a room at the Inn? I think a few of us have either gotten offers or know other places to stay, but it'd be cool to be able to hang together after riding.

I've also said I don't mind if a few people crash on the floor and just buy their own lift tickets separately. But, I don't know if we'll have room for 6 peeps on the floor. Up to everyone else.

For those of you on the list that haven't paid, please PM for my address so we can get the money situation figured out and that way if people aren't totally committed we can have others fill in their spots.

I'd hate to say "first ten to pay me get in", but I would like to figure something out so that everyone who wants to go has a space.

Just a heads up on putting more people in the condo than the maximum capacity. I know properties out in Mammoth can be kinda tough on enforcing fire codes and will throw people out if management finds out (even if they found you in the middle of the night). With this many people, bikes AND it will be tough to keep things low key.

Is there some 2 day special on the lift passes? Or is it 37 dollars a day plus the 20 a night for floor space adding up to 94?

Uh, do the math real quick. 37*2= 74 bucks for 2 days of lift. For another 16 bucks you can get your own bed right next to the lift for 2 nights. That's a great deal. Screw the floor go for that quick!

Just so I can keep track, here's the bed setup:

One room has a King bed (nancy and roger)
Other room has a queen bed
Loft has 3 twins and one queen bed.
Queen sofa bed in the living room.
3 full baths
full kitchen.

We'll figure it out when we get there.
